You won't believe this bike bridge over a non-existent stream.
Introduction
This is a bridge recently built as part of bike path in Ojai, CA as a creek crossing. My family and I have ridden this trial for several years. When I first saw the bridge this past Monday I was shocked and thought to my self, "the original path was just fine, why was this huge bridge needed?" Several questions began forming in my mind: How much did this cost? What government committee or official gave the OK to build this bridge? Who were the contractors that won the contracts to build this?
